Respiratory Training Wales delivers respiratory modules for both experienced practitioners and novices.
The company director, Charlie, is passionate and engaging, with an aim to improve knowledge and inspire respiratory services.
About me
After graduating with 1st class honours in Respiratory and Sleep Physiology I worked in various NHS hospitals across the UK until late 2016, when I took a post at Swansea University as a lecturer.
In 2021 I became a registered Clinical Scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and have been awarded Senior Teaching Fellow status from Advance HE.
I am now an Associate Professor in Respiratory and Sleep Healthcare Science and also work part time in a local lung function and sleep outpatients department.
I’ve been teaching spirometry in some capacity for 7 years and have over 12 years experience in performing and interpreting results.
I’m extremely passionate and enthusiastic about delivering meaningful, relevant and easy-to-understand training for professionals.
